This "moving head" is the ideal partner for pinspots or beam moving heads. On one side of the head, there is a half mirror ball that can rotate endlessly, with adjustable speed and direction; essentially a classic mirror ball in a compact, moving format.

On the opposite side, there is a flat mirror. This can be used to direct light further into the room, creating particularly interesting effects in combination with haze. Since the head of the MDM-50 is movable, the beam can also be controlled dynamically.

The head can also rotate continuously, creating a constant transition between the flat mirror and the mirror ball. In addition, the flat side features a ring of 50 LEDs, which can be used for colored accents and chase effects.

Lighting effect without light

The EUROLITE MDM-50 Moving Double Mirror combines a rotating mirrored hemisphere, a flat mirror and a colored LED ring in a moving-head housing. The device is designed as an effects solution for dynamic mirror, beam and ambient light effects and is equally suitable for clubs and dance schools, events, concert stages and theaters.

How it works

The EUROLITE MDM-50 combines several effect principles in a single device: On one side, a compact mirrored hemisphere operates with adjustable direction and speed of rotation. This means that classic mirror-ball effects can not only be used statically, but can also be dynamically positioned throughout the room using the moving-head mechanism. The opposite flat mirror side can redirect light precisely. In combination with haze or fog, this creates visible beam effects that can be precisely aligned using 540-degree PAN and 360-degree TILT.

Colored accents and chase effects

For colored accents, the flat side is equipped with an LED ring consisting of 50 SMD 5050 3-in-1 RGB LEDs. 25 individually controllable segments enable chase effects and add colorful moods to the mirror effects.

The control options are designed for maximum flexibility, with QuickDMX, W-DMX by Wireless Solution and CRMX by LumenRadio via USB also available as optional features. Thanks to its fanless operation, the device can also be used in noise-sensitive environments.
