Safety first!
Attaching a microphone arm to a keyboard stand is not too difficult. But often, the connection is not as strong as it was appropriate and the arm might happen to detach itself and thus fall down. To prevent this worst case scenario our microphone arm has an artful clasp at its disposal. Due to some turns, a bolt spreads out until it reaches the inner wall of the stand's duct. If you try to pill the arm out now, it would be a dead issue. So the relation is really strong and will definitely last a long time.
